What is Provenorsk?
Provenorsk is a specialized platform that helps students pass Norwegian oral exams. We provide exam-relevant practice questions, suggested answers and study materials for levels A2–B2 (listening practice for A1–A2). PrøveNorsk is independent and not affiliated with HK-dir.
What levels does Provenorsk cover?
Oral, written and grammar material covers levels A2–B2, and listening practice covers A1–A2. A2 is for permanent residence, while B1 is for Norwegian citizenship. Always check the current requirements with UDI. We also have practice questions based on topics from the September 2025, December 2025 and March 2026 exam periods.
How many questions do I get in each package?
The A2 package contains 100+ exam-style practice questions. The B1-B2 package has the same 100+ questions as A2, but the answers are written at B1/B2 level. The September 2025, December 2025 and March 2026 packages have practice questions based on topics candidates reported from each exam period.
How are the questions created?
Our questions are compiled from candidate experiences and publicly known exam topic areas. We gather information from students who have taken the exam and create practice questions based on the reported themes.
How much do the courses cost?
A2 Oral costs 179 NOK. B1-B2 Oral, Written and the September 2025, December 2025 and March 2026 packages cost 199 NOK each. Grammar costs 249 NOK, and Listening starts at 249 NOK. You get access right after payment.
How do I pay for the courses?
We use Stripe for secure payments. You can pay with credit card, debit card, or other Stripe-supported payment methods. Payment happens on Stripe's encrypted checkout page.
Do I get instant access to the material?
Yes. Right after payment you get an email with links. PDF packages are downloaded, and Listening and Grammar open in your browser.
What does each package include?
Each package includes exam-relevant practice questions, suggested answers, guide and best practices for oral exams, and tips for exam day. A2 has 76+ pages, B1-B2 has 97+ pages, September 2025 has 92+ pages, December 2025 has 102 pages and Written has 83+ pages.
What topics are covered in the exam questions?
Questions cover all major topics including family, work, health, housing, transport, food, culture, society, and daily life. We have questions from all parts of the Norwegian oral exam.
Is the material up to date?
Yes. After each exam period we make a new package of practice questions based on the topics candidates reported. The newest is the March 2026 package. Each product page shows when it was last updated.
Can I use the material on my mobile phone?
Yes, the PDF files can be opened on all devices including mobile phones, tablets, and computers. We recommend using a PDF reader for the best experience.
What if I don't pass the exam?
Our material is designed to maximize your chances of passing. We give you all the tools you need, but success also depends on your own effort and practice.
How long do I have access to the material?
The PDF files you download are stored on your device and can be used for as long as you like. Download links are personal, so save your files. Listening and Grammar give access for the period you bought.
Where can I get help if I have questions?
Email info@provenorsk.no. We usually reply within 24 hours on business days.
How often are the questions updated?
After each exam period, based on feedback from candidates who took the test. The newest package is based on the March 2026 exam period.
Do you only support oral exams?
No. We have material for the oral and written exams, plus grammar and listening practice.
What makes Provenorsk different from other courses?

How do I know which level package to choose?
Choose A2 if you're applying for permanent residence permit, B1-B2 if you're applying for Norwegian citizenship, and September 2025 if you want practice on topics from the September 2025 exam period.
Are there any prerequisites for using Provenorsk?
No prerequisites required. Our material is designed for students at different Norwegian proficiency levels. We provide guidance for beginners to advanced learners preparing for oral exams.
